This quote describes the style very well. A rather simple, slow and therefore very strong practice awaits you. Standing poses on one leg in slower flows are combined with strengthening movements for core, back and arms. To finish there are some wonderful, lush opening poses (sitting or lying) to neutralize the effort and - of course - shavasana :).
Because there are no complex asanas, these classes are suitable for yoga beginners with a normal physical fitness-level.
Power Yoga is a sweaty practice that enhances strength, stamina and balance as well as mental qualities like inner equanimity, focus and inner lightness.
